Trevor Noah: Back to Abnormal

Daily Show host and stand-up comedian Trevor Noah will be in town on June 17, making up for a show that had to be rescheduled in June of 2021. The Emmy-winning host and comedian is known around the world for his insightful and authentic take on politics.

Noah has been on a tour which features 75 sold-out North American shows, including a sell-out audience at the legendary Madison Square Garden.

If dad is either a car nut or an aviation enthusiast, the Hangar Flight Museum is hosting the perfect Father’s Day event for him and the family.

The annual Wings and Wheels event will be taking place on both Saturday and Sunday, running 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Get on down to the museum and tour the inside of a selection of aircraft, partake in crafts, and see all of the beautiful cars that will be a part of the show and shine. Helicopter city tours are also available.

Beatles Back in Time

For all of the Beatles lovers out there, the Jubilations Dinner Theatre has a show for you. Hop in a time machine and head back to Liverpool, England, 1961. The Beatles are just about to hit the stage where it all began for the band that changed music forever.

The show runs from June 4 to Aug. 16.

Spruce Meadows National

This weekend at Spruce Meadows is the return of the National Tournament. The event celebrates not only horses but also first responders.

“FireFit competitions will be featured early in the week and our city and area’s finest will be here to display their emergency vehicles, canines, helicopters, equipment and more,” the event listing said.

At Spruce Meadows, event goers can see the best athletes from the world’s top show jumping nations compete for top prize money and international acclaim.

This weekend will also feature performances by The Lord Strathcona’s Horse Musical Ride, live entertainment, displays, shopping, pony rides, prairie dogs and more.
